I’ve always been drawn to stories, the quiet, meaningful moments that make you feel something long after they’ve passed. Photography became my way of preserving those moments honestly and beautifully.
I’m Petro Hansen, a wedding and lifestyle photographer based in Pretoria, with a love for natural light, timeless imagery, and intentional storytelling. My style blends romantic, editorial-inspired photography with honest connection, creating photographs that feel soft, effortless, and true to you.
Alongside photography, I hold a law degree and am a published writer, both of which shaped my love for observation, storytelling, and meaningful detail.
What I love most is capturing the emotion beneath the surface — the in-between moments, genuine connection, and beauty that unfolds naturally when people feel comfortable simply being themselves.
Outside of photography, I’m a lover of the ocean, biographies, French simplicity, and romantic movies.
